Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Greater Era Kashmir Tours. These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and use of our travel services. By booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payments

  • Advance Payment: To confirm your booking, an advance payment of 30% to 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.

  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Srinagar or before the commencement of the tour, as per the specific agreement with your travel consultant.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and UPI. Please note that credit card payments may attract a small bank surcharge.

  • Price Validity: Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in fuel prices, taxes, or hotel rates until the booking is confirmed with an advance.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify us in writing via email. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive your written request.

  • 30+ Days before departure: 25% of the total tour cost will be charged.

  • 15 to 29 Days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

  • 7 to 14 Days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.

  • Less than 7 Days or No Show: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged (No Refund).

Note: During peak season or for high-end hotel reservations, a strict non-refundable policy may apply as per the specific hotel’s terms.

3. Tour Policy and Itinerary Changes

  • Itinerary Changes: We reserve the right to alter, amend, or change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road blocks, political unrest, or flight cancellations. Any additional costs incurred due to these changes (e.g., extra hotel nights, alternative transport) will be borne by the guest.

  • Force Majeure: Greater Era Kashmir Tours is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is a result of natural disasters (snowstorms, floods, landslides), war, civil unrest, government sanctions, strikes, or interruptions in essential services.

  • Unused Services: No refund will be made for any unused services, such as missed meals, sightseeing, or transportation, due to the guest’s personal decision, illness, or late arrival.

4. Transportation and Accommodation

 

  • Vehicle Usage: Vehicles are provided on a point-to-point basis as per the itinerary and are not at the guest’s disposal for the entire day.

  • AC in Hills: Please note that air conditioning (AC) in vehicles will not be operated in hilly areas (like Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg) to prevent engine overheating and ensure safety on steep terrain.

  • Check-in/Check-out: Standard hotel check-in time is usually 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel discretion.

5. Guest Responsibilities

  • Identity Proof: All guests must carry valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) during the tour. Note: PAN Cards are generally not accepted as valid address proof for hotel check-ins in Jammu & Kashmir.

  • Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate the tour for any guest who behaves in a manner that is disruptive, dangerous, or illegal. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

  • Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings. Greater Era Kashmir Tours is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

6. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
